The MTR heavy rail bans pets outright, guide dogs aside. The Light Rail allows them only at weekends and on public holidays, and only in a fully sealed carrier with no head or paws showing. Taxis may legally carry pets, but any driver can refuse you. Before the appointment even starts, transport is the first thing that can go wrong.
