Why this exists
Not every trip needs a full carrier. A quick walk downstairs, a short taxi ride, a visit where the cat will be out of the bag anyway — a rigid backpack is more bag than the trip deserves, and you end up carrying an empty shell most of the way.
What it does about it
This is the lightest thing we stock: a cross-body strap and a soft body that folds down to almost nothing when you are not using it. The top is not sealed, so your cat can put its head out, which most cats prefer on short trips.

Who this is wrong for
Not for cats that bolt. The top is open by design, and the internal clip only works if your cat is already wearing a harness — without one there is nothing holding it in. Also not for public transport that requires a fully sealed carrier.
