Why this exists
The first time we tried to get a scared cat into a front-loading carrier, it took two people and twenty minutes. Lowering her in from the top took about four seconds.
What it does about it
A top zip lets you lower a cat in rather than push her through a small opening — which is where most of the fight happens. Three mesh sides keep her able to see you.
Materials and specs
600D shell, three-sided mesh, top and front zips, removable machine-washable pad. Holds cats up to 15 lb. Seatbelt strap on the back.
When this is the wrong product
Not right for long trips or a vet who runs behind — there is no expansion, so an hour in this one is an hour in a small box. Not right for cats over 15 lb.
